And this was Our argument which we gave to Ibrahim against his people; We exalt in dignity whom We please; surely your Lord is Wise, Knowing. 83 We gave him Isaac and Jacob and guided both; and We guided Noah before them, among his descendants were David and Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron as such, We recompense the gooddoers, 84 Zachariah and John We guided, and guided Jesus and Elias who were all among the upright. 85 and Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah and Lot. Each We preferred above the worlds, 86 And some of their ancestors and their descendants and their brothers; and We chose them and guided them to the Straight Path. 87 This is God's guidance: He gives among His creatures whom He will. If they had associated others with Him, surely vain would have been all they did. 88 Those are they to whom We gave the Book, the Judgment, the Prophethood; so if these disbelieve in it, We have already entrusted it to a people who do not disbelieve in it. 89 They are those whom Allah had guided. So follow their guidance. Say: "No reward I ask of you for this (the Quran). It is only a reminder for the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns)." 90
