Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24
And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The chiefs of his people said: verily we see thee in error manifest. 60 He said: O my people! there is no error in me, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 sent to preach to you the message of my Lord and to give you good advice. I know what you do not know about God. 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 Then they belied him; thereupon We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and drowned those who belied Our signs; verily they were a people blind. 64
