The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
