Those who reject Our signs, We shall gradually visit with punishment, in ways they perceive not; 182 For though I give them rein for a while, My strategy is sure. 183 Have they not reflected? No madness is in their comrade; he is naught but a plain warner. 184 Have they not considered the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and what things Allah hath created, and that it may be that their own term draweth nigh? In what fact after this will they believe? 185 None can guide those whom Allah leaves in error. He leaves them in their insolence, wandering blindly. 186 They ask thee about the (final) Hour - when will be its appointed time? Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you." They ask thee as if thou Wert eager in search thereof: Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone), but most men know not." 187 Say: 'I have no power to profit for myself; or hurt, but as God will. Had I knowledge of the Unseen I would have acquired much good, and evil would not have touched me. I am only a warner, and a bearer of good tidings, to a people believing.' 188
