And the king said, “I saw in a dream seven healthy cows whom seven lean cows were eating, and seven green ears of corn and seven others dry; O court-members! Explain my dream, if you can interpret dreams.” 43 They said: medleys of dreams! and in the interpretation of dreams we are not skilled. 44 Then the servant, who of the two had been released, remembering (Joseph), said: "I will give you its interpretation; let me go for it." 45 (And coming to the prison) he said: "O Joseph the truthful, tell us (the meaning of) seven fat cows being devoured by seven lean ones, and seven green ears of corn and seven seared, that I may go back to the people and tell them." 46 He said: You shall sow for seven years continuously, then what you reap leave it in its ear except a little of which you eat. 47 Then there will come seven years of hardship which will consume the grain you had laid up against them, except a little you may have stored away. 48 Then thereafter will come a year wherein mankind will have rain and wherein they will press. 49
