Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
