O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. 153 And do not utter regarding those who are slain in Allah's cause as “dead”; in fact they are alive, but it is you who are unaware. 154 Be sure We shall try you with something of fear and hunger and loss of wealth and life and the fruits (of your labour); but give tidings of happiness to those who have patience, 155 Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return." 156 Such are they on whom are blessings from their Lord, and mercy. Such are the rightly guided. 157 ۞ Safa and Marwah are among the symbols set up by God; there is nothing wrong if anyone goes on a pilgrimage to the House, or performs a minor pilgrimage, in walking to and fro between them. Of anyone who does good of his own accord, God is appreciative, and aware. 158 Verily those who hide that which We have sent down of evidence and the guidance, after We have expounded it unto mankind in the Book, these! curseth them Allah, and shall curse them the cursers 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 Indeed upon those who disbelieved, and died as disbelievers, is the curse of Allah and of the angels and of men combined. 161 In this state shall they abide; [and] neither will their suffering, be lightened, nor will they be granted respite. 162 And the God of you all is one God; there is no God but He, the Compassionate, the Merciful. 163
