Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
