Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
