We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
