Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
