And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25
