The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah; 2 who believe in the unseen, establish the Salats and expend (in Our way) out of what We have bestowed on them; 3 And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]. 4 These are on guidance from their Lord, and these they are the blissful ones. 5 Those who deny your message will not believe whether you warn them or not 6 God has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a covering, and there awaits them a mighty chastisement. 7
