Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
