It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
