And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 We send fertilizing winds, and then cause rain to descend from the sky, providing you abundant water to drink even though you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
