Indeed We created man from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud. 26 As We fashioned jinns before from intense radiated heat. 27 And (remember) when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am creating a mortal out of potter's clay of black mud altered, 28 “Therefore when I have properly fashioned him and breathed into him a chosen noble soul from Myself, fall down before him in prostration.” 29 All the angels prostrated before Adam 30 except Iblis; he refused to join those who prostrated. 31 God asked him, "What is the matter with you, that you are not among those who have prostrated themselves?" 32 He replied: 'I will not prostrate to a mortal You have created of clay, from molded mud' 33 Allah said: then get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art one damned. 34 and will be subjected to condemnation until the Day of Judgment." 35 Iblis said: "My Lord! Grant me respite till the Day when they will be resurrected." 36 Allah said: "For sure you are granted respite 37 Till the Day of appointed time. 38 He said, “My Lord! I swear by the fact that You sent me astray, I shall distract them in the earth, and I shall lead all of them astray.” 39 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 40 God said, "The path which leads to Me is a straight 41 over My worshipers you have no authority, except the perverse that follow you. 42 For whom the ordained place is surely Hell, 43 It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated." 44
