۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
