VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said, "We have been sent forth to a guilty people." 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
