1/4 Hizb 27

Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 They said: "Do not feel afraid, for we give you the good news of a wise boy." 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They (the angels) said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 “Except his wife we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
