VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 They shall face no fatigue in it, nor shall they ever be driven out of it. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 AND TELL THEM [once again] about Abraham's guests 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
