The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
