The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 and conveying [to all the world] a reminder: 3 your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
