And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 And that which they were wont to count as gain availed them not. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 Say, "Indeed, I am simply one who warns." 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 But, by thy Sustainer! [On the Day of Judgment] We shall indeed call them to account, one and all, 92 about what they did. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Indeed, We are sufficient for you against the mockers 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 And surely We know that your breast straitens at what they say; 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 And go on worshipping your Lord till the certainty (of death) comes upon you. 99
