Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 What! When we are dead and reduced to mere dust, (shall we be raised to life)? Such a return is far-fetched.” 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 as sustenance apportioned to men; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life: [and] even so will be [man's] coming-forth from death. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation. 15
