Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
People of Hijr rejected the Messengers. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 Out of the mountains did they hew (their) edifices, (feeling themselves) secure. 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 We have given you the seven oft-recited verses and the great Quran. 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 [For, thou art the bearer of a divine writ] such as We have bestowed from on high upon those who [afterwards] broke it up into parts, 90 and who have broken the Scripture into fragments -- 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 For all that they used to do. 93 So shout that thou art commanded and turn thou away from the idolaters. 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 And well do We know that thy bosom is constricted by the [blasphemous] things that they say: 97 But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him). 98 and worship your Lord until what is certain [death] comes to you. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
