The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ God's help will certainly support (the believers), so pagans do not (seek) to hasten it. God is too Glorious and Exalted to be considered equal to idols. 1 He sends down the angels with the soul of faith – the divine revelations – towards those among His bondmen He wills that, “There is no worship except for Me, therefore fear Me.” 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). 3 He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent. 4 He created cattle which provide you with clothes, food, and other benefits. 5 And for you there is beauty in them as ye drive them at eventide and as ye drive them out to pasture. 6 And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules and donkeys for riding and for splendour. He created other things too which you do not know. 8 It is for Allah to show the way. Some swerve from it, but had He willed, He would have guided all of you. 9
