It is He Who sent down water from the sky – you drink from it, and from it are trees you use as pasture. 10 With this water He produces for you crops, and olives, and dates, and grapes, and all kinds of fruit; indeed in this is a sign for people who ponder. 11 And He hath subjected for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Verily therein are signs for a people who understand. 12 All that He has created for you on the earth are of different colors. In this there is evidence of the Truth for the people who take heed. 13 It is He Who has made the sea subject, that ye may eat thereof flesh that is fresh and tender, and that ye may extract therefrom ornaments to wear; and thou seest the ships therein that plough the waves, that ye may seek (thus) of the bounty of Allah and that ye may be grateful. 14 He has set up on the earth firm mountains, lest it shake under you, and rivers and tracks, so that you may find your way, 15 And landmarks (too), and by the star they find a way. 16 Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember? 17 For, should you try to count God's blessings, you could never compute them! Behold, God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace; 18 God knows all that you conceal and all that you reveal. 19 , As for those they call besides God, they cannot create a thing, and have themselves been created. 20 They are not living but are dead. They can not know when they will be raised. 21
