۞ Allah has said: "Take not (for worship) two gods: for He is just One Allah: then fear Me (and Me alone)." 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 Whatever blessing you have is from God, and to Him you turn for help when distress befalls you, 53 And afterward, when He hath rid you of the misfortune, behold! a set of you attribute partners to their Lord, 54 that they may show unthankfulness for that We have given them. So take your joy; certainly you will soon know! 55 They even appoint a share of what We have provided for them [to false gods] they know nothing of. You shall surely be questioned about the lies you have been fabricating. 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 and when any of them is given the good tidings of a girl, his face is darkened and he chokes inwardly, 58 He hideth himself from the folk because of the evil of that whereof he hath had tidings, (asking himself): Shall he keep it in contempt, or bury it beneath the dust. Verily evil is their judgment. 59 For those who do not believe in the hereafter is an evil attribute, and Allah's is the loftiest attribute; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 60
