When We replace a message with another -- and God knows best what He reveals -- they say: "You have made it up;" yet most of them do not know. 101 Say: "Holy inspiration has brought it down from thy Sustainer by stages, setting forth the truth, so that it might give firmness unto those who have attained to faith, and provide guidance and a glad tiding unto all who have surrendered themselves to God." 102 And We certainly know that they say, "It is only a human being who teaches the Prophet." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur'an is [in] a clear Arabic language. 103 Verily! Those who believe not in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, Allah will not guide them and theirs will be a painful torment. 104 It is but they who will not believe in God's messages that invent this falsehood; and it is they, they who are lying! 105 Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty. 106 That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. 107 Such are they whose hearts and ears and eyes Allah hath sealed. And such are the heedless. 108 Assuredly in the Hereafter they are the losers. 109 ۞ Those who left their homes for the cause of God after they had been persecuted, strove hard for His cause and exercised patience should know (even though they had verbally renounced their faith) that your Lord is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 110
