We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
