We have turned about in this Koran, that they may remember; and it increases them only in aversion. 41 Say: "Had there been other gods with Him, as they assert, they would surely have sought a way (of opposition) against the Lord of the Throne." 42 (to challenge Him). God is too Glorious and Exalted to be considered as they believe Him to be. He is the most High and Great. 43 The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein praise Him, and there is not a thing but hymneth His praise; but ye understand not their praise. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving. 44 And when you recite the Quran, We place between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter a hidden barrier; 45 And We place upon their hearts veils lest they should understand it, and in their ears a deafness; and when thou makest mention of thy Lord alone in the Qur'an, they turn their backs in aversion. 46 We know well with what (intent) they hear you, for when they confer privately the wicked say: "You follow but a man deluded." 47 See what similes they strike for thee: but they have gone astray, and never can they find a way. 48 And [thus, too,] they say: "After we will have become bones and dust, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead in a new act of creation?" 49 Proclaim, “Become stones or iron.” 50 ۞ or any other creation yet more monstrous in your minds' They will ask: 'Who will restore us' Say: 'He who originated you at first' They will shake their heads and ask: 'When will this be' Say: 'Maybe it is near, 51 On the day when He will call you forth, then shall you obey Him, giving Him praise, and you will think that you tarried but a little (while). 52
