When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 When they had journeyed further on, Moses said to his servant: "Bring us our repast. We are surely fatigued by today's journey." 62 He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!" 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Musa said unto him: shall I follow thee that thou mayest teach me of that which thou hast been taught a directive knowledge. 66 (The other) said: "Verily thou wilt not be able to have patience with me!" 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 Said he, 'Then if thou followest me, question me not on anything until I myself introduce the mention of it to thee.' 70
