And recite in the Book the account of Moses. He was a chosen one, a Messenger, a Prophet. 51 And We cried unto him from the right side of the mount, and We drew him nigh for whispering. 52 And We gave him his brother Aaron, of Our mercy, a Prophet. 53 AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Ishmael. Behold, he was always true to his promise, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet, 54 And he ordered his people to pray and to give charity and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 And mention thou in the book ldris, verily he was a man of truth, a prophet. 56 And We exalted him to a position lofty. 57 These are the ones whom God has favoured: the prophets from among the descendants of Adam and of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah; the descendants of Abraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chosen. For when the revelations of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ Yet they were succeeded by generations [of people] who lost all [thought of] prayer and followed [but] their own lusts; and these will, in time, meet with utter disillusion. 59 except those who repent and believe and act righteously. Such shall enter Paradise and shall not be wronged at all. 60 [Therein are] gardens of perpetual residence which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen. Indeed, His promise has ever been coming. 61 They shall not hear therein any vain word, but they shall hear only peace; and therein they shall have their provision morning and evening. 62 Such are the gardens which We will give to Our God-fearing servants as their inherited property. 63 And we do not descend but by the command of your Lord; to Him belongs whatever is before us and whatever is behind us and whatever is between these, and your Lord is not forgetful. 64 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between. Serve Him, then, and be constant in serving Him. Do you know anyone that might be His compeer?" 65
