Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill (your obligations to) My Covenant (with you) so that I fulfill (My Obligations to) your covenant (with Me), and fear none but Me. 40 Believe in that which I have [now] bestowed from on high, confirming the truth already in your possession, and be not foremost among those who deny its truth; and do not barter away My messages for a trifling gain; and of Me, of Me be conscious 41 Do not confuse truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth knowingly. 42 And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and give Zakat, and Irka' (i.e. bow down or submit yourselves with obedience to Allah) along with Ar-Raki'un. 43 ۞ Enjoin ye righteousness upon mankind while ye yourselves forget (to practise it)? And ye are readers of the Scripture! Have ye then no sense? 44 Help yourselves (in your affairs) with patience and prayer. It is a difficult task indeed, but not for the humble ones 45 (They are those) who are certain that they are going to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are going to return. 46
