And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before this, and he was non existent? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieves in Our signs and says, 'Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children'? 77 Has he the knowledge of the unseen or has the Beneficent God established such a binding agreement with Him? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection). 82
