The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
