Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 We have made it [the Quran] easy, in your own language [Prophet], so that you may convey glad news to the righteous and give warning to a stubborn people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
