Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 And We will drive the guilty to hell thirsty 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
