Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
