Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
