Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
