The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
