T H (Taa Haa)
135 verses, revealed in Mecca after Mary (Maryam) before The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, 2 it is only a reminder for him who fears Allah; 3 A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens. 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. 6 If you speak loudly; He has indeed knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 God - there is no deity save Him; His [alone] are the attributes of perfection! 8 Has the story of Moses reached you? 9 When he saw a fire he said to his family: "You wait here. I have seen a fire. I may haply be able to bring an ember from it, or find direction by the fire." 10 So when he came to it, a voice was uttered: O Musa: 11 "O Moses, I am verily your Lord, so take off your shoes, for you are in the holy plain of Towa. 12 "I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). 13 Surely I am Allah, there is no god but I, therefore serve Me and keep up prayer for My remembrance: 14 Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). 15 Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish. 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 He replied, "It is my staff. I lean on it, and with it, I beat down the leaves for my flock; I also have other uses for it." 18 He said: "Moses, throw it down." 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent, gliding. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 Go thou unto Pharaoh! Lo! he hath transgressed (the bounds). 24

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
