[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 'and do Thou ease for me my task. 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 so that we may glorify 33 and may remember You much. 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 "'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 I have chosen you for My service. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 [Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 The One Who has made the earth a bed for you and kept operative roads for you in it and sent down water from the sky; so with it We produced different pairs of vegetation. 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
