The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth is shaken 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 On that day, you (mankind) will be divided into three groups: 7 The People on the Right: and how fortunate will be the People on the Right! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 On lined couches, 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 And fruits that they may like. 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 Amid thornless lote-trees, 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 and spreading shade 30 And water gushing, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 loving companions, matching in age, 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
