Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And make my mission easy. 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 "That they understand my speech, 28 Appoint for me a minister from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may glorify Thee much 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 Indeed, You are of us ever Seeing." 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 Go, then; you two unto him and say, 'Behold, we are apostles sent by thy Sustainer: let, then, the children of Israel go with us, and cause them not to suffer [any longer]. We have now come unto thee with a message from thy Sustainer; and [know that His] peace shall be [only] on those who follow [His] guidance: 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 He said: then what happened to the former generations? 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a book, my Lord errs not, nor does He forget; 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 (Saying): Eat ye and feed your cattle. Lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought. 54
