Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? 197 Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We inserted disbelief into the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom, 201 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 and then Our torment will strike them, 206 So of what benefit will be the comforts that they were using? 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 for a reminder, and We never harmed. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 The satans are barred from listening to anything from the heavens. 212 So call thou not upon another god with God, lest thou shouldst be one of those that are chastised. 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey you say to them: "I am quit of what you do." 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon every lying, sinful one, 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, only the wayward follow them. 224 Do you not see that in every valley they roam 225 And that they say that which they do not? 226 [Most of them are of this kind] save those who have attained to faith, and do righteous deeds, and remember God unceasingly, and defend themselves [only] after having been wronged, and [trust in God's promise that] those who are bent on wrongdoing will in time come to know how evil a turn their destinies are bound to take! 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
