Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And when the stars shall be scattered, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 Who know what you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
