[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 And ease for me my task 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 “That is Haroon, my brother.” 30 Increase through him my strength 31 "And make him share my task: 32 That we may glorify Thee much 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 Speak to him gently. He may possibly take heed or may come to have fear." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 (The Lord) said: "Be not afraid. I am verily with you, and I hear and see. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 It has been revealed to us that punishment will befall him who denies and turns away. 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 Said [Pharaoh]: "And what of all the past generations?" 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 Consume them as food or for grazing your cattle. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of reason". 54
